Job Description
Develop and manage an existing portfolio of commercial customer relationships, both loans and deposits. Research and call on commercial business customers and prospects to solicit new business and sell Bank services. Interview loan applicants. Collect and analyze financial and related data to determine the general credit worthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan request. Work with credit analyst on complex relationships. Establish and negotiate the terms under which credit will be extended. Approve loans within limits of lending authority. Present loans above lending authority to loan committee. Monitor loan repayment activities and take necessary action to collect delinquent accounts within the portfolio. Be accountable for meeting individual and corporate performance goals on quality, growth and profitability.
Job Qualifications
8+ years of experience in commercial lending; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field; Must have effective sales skills; Analytical ability and negotiating skills; Underwriting experience and willingness to live in-market and be active in the community. Formal credit training is preferred, and must be able to produce 8MM+ per year in loans.
