Job Description

This bank is looking for someone to maintain and develop a mainly agricutural and some commercial loan portfolio. Lender will be stepping into the senior lender position. They will be doing their own write-ups and presentations, essentially performing all of the mechanics from start to finish. This is primarily an Ag lending position but would also encompass some commercial loans as well. Lender would collect and analyze financial and related data to determine the general credit worthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan request. Work with credit analyst on complex relationships. Establish and negotiate the terms under which credit will be extended. Approve loans within limits of lending authority. Present loans above lending authority to Loan Committee. Monitor loan repayment activities and take necessary action to collect delinquent accounts within the portfolio. Be accountable for meeting individual and corporate performance goals on quality, growth, and profitability.

Job Qualifications

7-8 years of experience in Commercial and Ag Lending; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field; must have effective sales skills; analytical ability and negotiating skills; underwriting and credit analysis experience required.
